While I don't enjoy the girls being sick, and realize they don't either, I certainly do not mind being able to catch up on laundry and sleep while we rest in bed and watch movies.
Today went by in a flash, Piper slept in until 10:30, Charly an hour before. I had plenty of time to take care of the ridiculous business with ADT....yes we are still trying to get our refund for all the crappy service they have given us. Finally today after filing a complaint with the Better business Bureau and threatening legal action (with no real intent to hire a lawyer), I finally got a prompt phone call back from someone who could actually do something about giving us a refund...which I will believe when I see the check in my hands.
I would strongly suggest after being turned over to collections and having our account messed with multiple times without our consent that no one deal with this company. They have the worst customer service! Im at least happy with the fact that they took care of the unnecessary debt they placed on us, but we are surely never doing business with them again...
So back to the things that really matter. I should mention that Piper is saying Charly's name very well these days, although it sounds like "Sha-she". Cutest thing ever. With her feeling snotty the past couple of days there haven't been any death defying tricks...we're grateful for that.

Toward the end of the nice cool day inside the house (still have the AC on to help the girls sleep better during the day) Charly convinced me to let her play outside. I agreed and grabbed my camera, I wanted to take my try a new lighting trick I learned. Had lots of time to read the past couple of days...something I'm also grateful for.

Charly mentions almost on a weekly basis that she can't wait for the winter. Thinking she is going to say because of snow, she says it's because she can't wait to go to Utah. Me too Charly, me too!
She is going through a major growth spurt right now. Charly has outgrown three shoe sizes in the past few months and been sleeping long hours at night.
After registering Piper for a toddler reading time at the library, I got in touch with a local home-schooling group which I had no idea existed. This as you probably guessed is exciting. While Charly doesn't complain or want to go to public school, I think it will most likely help her to have a few more friends in her circle who are home-schooled as well. We plan on going to the park next friday to meet them all...and I understand there is a home-birthing mom in the group too. Should be great.

Don't let this face fool you, Charly was excited. I'm really hoping that tomorrow works out for a family day. Nate has enough hours to flex so he should get off in the morning. We have plans of going to the park and doing the lawn and perhaps letting the girls play with the hose and bucket.
**Just called Nate (he is with the missionaries) and Piper got so excited, so I told Nate to say hi and she said..."Hi Daddy, I love you...bye" She usually just smiles when you put the phone up to her ear. **

Kaly can't wait for winter either. She says: How about Charly comes to our house to play when it's winter. I love Charly.
