Two of a completely different kind

Exhibit A

Piper's curiosity led her to a hot pickle taste...she tries it and quickly spits it out, as they are very spicy.  She goes on exploring her day and is fine....despite touching barbwire at the park and falling numerous times.

Exhibit B

Charly tries to same pickle and starts crying for about five minutes.......which Nate predicted would happen.  

Nate came home early from work and we decided to go to the infamous school park in the evening, after some yard work and relaxing. Last time we were there Nate introduced Charly to the spider (were you swing facing each other).  I tried to get a picture of them last time and was sad when they were all out of focus....this time I came with my armor on defeated the focus monster! 

I love the first swing picture, despite my not-so-good photoshop job. (Give a gal a break, Im learning here.....trying to at least.)  I love the way Charly looks at Nate with so much genuine love,fun and trust.  Im glad I was able to capture that! 

After a nice evening in the park we took some time to enjoy our freshly groomed yard. The mosquitos have been horrible lately so it didn't last too long. 

Saturday morning Nate took just Charly to the lake for some early morning swimming while Piper and I slept in. In fact Piper woke up around 10:30, after they came back. Even though Nate spends the evenings with us as a family but we thought that maybe Charly would like to do something with just the two of them. Besides I'm not exactly up for chasing Piper around the lake that early in the morning.

Charly came home with another pet, a dragonfly she named Mac, who for some reason was letting her hold it the whole drive home. Charly will now be known as the dragonfly whisperer. She let it go outside and had to help it off her hand....weird huh?

Seems like so much has happened this week that I'm not mentioning but as always I forget what the heck I want to write about when I wait longer than five minutes.
