Family Home evening strikes again!

I'm pretty sure that both of the girls wet their pants after hearing we were going to have ice cream sandwiches for FHE. The whole time Nate and I were talking they were looking at us thinking, is it time for treat yet? Wait, erase that, CHARLY was thinking that and Piper was trying to find every wild thing she could do in the living room....i.e. hang from the learning tower, bounce on the birth ball while holding onto the learning tower etc. She did however help with prayer and one of these days Im going to record her doing it, it's the cutest thing! Nate and I both can't believe how much she is talking.  Piper went from three words to a full vocabulary within weeks.

At last the ice cream comes out and Piper is so excited she is not paying attention to the stairs and is likely to face plant at any moment don't worry though, I assure you we are standing by to help her along.....most of the time anyways.  The cat, which is named DJ, Blue Jack or hey you cat, kept trying to get the girl's sandwiches and they were not OK with that. Piper on the other hand didn't have any problems when Charly asked to share after she had finished hers.

Before FHE, momma was hot, very hot, and so we went to the snow cone stand down the street where I noticed these passion flowers growing. I asked the man who owned it if he would mind if we came back later to take pictures, he said not at all.  So after Ice cream we packed the girls in the car and headed to the flowers on the way to the park.

Coolest flower I have ever seen...They kicked Gerber Daisies right to the curb on my favorite list!  The third below, my attempt at getting a picture of myself...since I'm always the taker of pictures. Hand in front....and CLICK! I think that it turned out pretty cool, if you overlook the fact that my brows are a little wild. Eh we can overlook that...right?

The best things about the Honey grove schools has got to be their parks, seriously there are three different great parks all next to each other for different age groups. The weather was amazing and the girls had a blast!
Lucky for Piper they even have the world's tallest and scariest slide(below), so scary in fact that they put cage around it to make it seem more thrilling, LOL.  Piper and Charly went up the stairs and down the slide, climbed up the slide and down again.  It was pretty nerve wrecking for Nate and I to watch.  We can't believe how fearless Piper is. She truly is a wild child.

When Charly is 16 I picture Nate and I waiting for her after her first date hoping that no broken hearts come from it....Piper on the other hand, we will be worrying about whether or not she chose to drag race on her first date.  Yes folks I too can dream!

Nate took turns swinging with the girls "spider style" which made Charly have belly laughs, she loved it so much!

Nate was at the top of the swings trying to show Charly how to climb up, she didn't get very far, as you can see. We left the park at 8:30 and I wished we had more time, but we will surely be going again because the weather was perfect that time of night. Ooooh I can almost smell fall coming.

I should also note that since today is Tuesday I have central air on, for Beth and her crew. We are going to do some snake crafts which involves skinning snakes and making art from them. Only kidding! Some sort of paper craft actually, which I need to get together and only have five hours to do it, what ever will I do? LOL
