Duh duh da duh!

This is to announce that Piper is FINALLY drinking from a cup of her own! Yes thats right folks after waiting almost two years, the day has come. She has also been showing more interest in foods the past couple of days which is really exciting. We are going through the food phase a lot later than most but it is exciting none the less. She really seems to like the chicken veggie soup I made and munching on apples too. I think perhaps the day will come this summer when Piper can actually substitute nursing with a meal and Nate and I can actually go to Six Flags for the whole day while the girls stay with my mom. Ooooh so exciting! Seems like Charly was around 16 months when we did that for the first time.
Nate suggested that I sprout (he called me the sprouting queen) the corn and pumpkin and bean seeds that we got before puting them in the ground. Why didnt I think of that? So I did and now I just need to finish weeding the half of the garden that we are going to plant the pumpkins...should only take a few hours. Im hoping that the sprouting should speed up the process in the ground so we see a little plant sooner and have them get established a bit better.
One more thing, we have a free dog to anyone who wants her. Here are some great things about her......
She Always wakes you up in the morning with a bark
She takes your childrens food ALL the time
She is constantly a step ahead of you when you are walking
She almost never comes when you call her
She tangles the leash up almost every day and gets Piper in the middle of it
Of course this is a joke and Im not giving her away but she is driving me crazy these days! I cant wait until the day when we do not have a dog. Yes she is sweet and she loves us unconditionally  but still I cant seem to manage to do the same, call me mean or whatever, Ive just decided that Im not an animal lover.  I AM mean, I love her...but I just am annoyed at everything she does, most days at least.  Perhaps the next dog we have will have to meet my standards first.....a small dog who listens to me!

outside dogs are nice. They always love you, you never have to let them out. they eat rabbits, and any other animal you will shoot for them. They only eat scraps, and can only steal your kids food if/when the kids go out in the field with their food.
I think Winter was a month old when I went skiing for the whole day. (btw my boobs hurt like crazy at the end of that day!)
