Another day, another creature

I'm pretty sure that there is some sort of joke going on and its between Heavenly Father and myself seeing how many weird creatures I can handle seeing in my backyard in one week. Today we managed to see a giant salamander near out garage...Nate later informed me that it is actually called a Skeenk?, or something like that. Regardless of what it is I don't want to see it. I wish Nate were here to ease my fears although he reassures me on the phone that we WANT these in our yard because they are harmless and they eat bugs and spiders, that may in fact be true I would just rather not see them. On another note Charly has been eating like crazy the past few days, she must be going through a growth spurt! She ate three apples in a row and I'm pretty sure that has never happened. I was also surprised to see that Piper was eating small pieces of apple and she then, with help, drank almost a whole cup of water. I can see an end in sight with her not eating only breast milk, slowly but surely she will get there and I keep reminding myself to treasure this stage while it is here because before I know it she will be onto a new and even more exciting stage in her young life. I just hope she is interested in cake by her birthday because I really want her to dig into one. I  have been trying to find information about babies who aren't interested in "food"(I put quotes because breast milk is indeed food, I'm meaning table food though) and I read that low iron could attribute to a decreased appetite and then Ill read something that says as long as she is thriving and growing I need not worry. I recognize that when I start getting other peoples "opinions" on what she should and shouldn't be doing is when I get more concerned. None the less both her and Charly have an appt. with a local doctor in June where I plan on requesting an iron check for both of them. I'm just getting anxious for her to be interested in other things. Charly's schooling is going wonderful and she is a very confident young girl with a great interest in learning new things. She looks forward to reading the scriptures in the morning and  is starting to pick out the bigger words and telling me what they are, which is a definite step up from the Dick and Jane type books. Watching your child learn to read and to go through it with them is just an amazing experience. I love seeing her change and blossom. Anyhow our quiet time is turning into screaming time which tells me the girls are getting tired. Enjoy the picks
PS we miss Utah and the family we have there.

Check out Pipers molars pushing through in the close up shot of her, poor little gums!

Just some ideas for your blog. The family picture at the top is too big, making it so you have scroll to see the whole page. Also, maybe use some paragraphs to make your stories easier to read. Of course you can ignore any and all things I say,... just suggestions.

You must have seen it while I was playing around with it....I removed that big picture, I thought it would be WAY smaller. ;) As for the paragraph suggestion...its a blog!
