Something happened this week. Something incredible. The leaves are changing and the weather is suddenly tolerable....Nate and I actually added a light blanket to our bed after months of sleeping/sweating with just a sheet.
I love this time of year. I love hearing the wind blow the leaves and I love listening to the light breeze and the weather that just calls you to be outside all day. It may just be my favorite time of year, especially after a very hot summer.
Before we toasted up some marshmallows the girls were having a mini signing lesson. I didn't even realized I got all three signs until this morning when I was reviewing yesterdays photos. Piper will do anything Charly shows or asks her to! This is just too cute!
Charly has been asking to make s'mores for a while now and since the weather is nice these days we decided to make them tonight for FHE. Nate made a fire and as the flies swarmed around us we enjoyed simply just being outside together.
I discovered how many mosquito bites I have.
My legs are covered.
Literally.
They love me.
I hate them!
Nate got the girls ready for bed tonight and I suppose that allowed me to forget about the pesky mosquitoes while I played with some pictures on Photoshop. Something I haven't done in a few days. Yes I know it is a tragedy!
It is so nice to be back in the outdoors! Welcome, welcome September!

I love your blog! Where's your bug stick? It will stop the itching of those bites.....
