Finally a couple of the kittens are beginning to open their eyes! Charly is still obsessed with them and the momma cat, whom we finally named (Jackie Blue), is starting to be OK with her handling them all the time. I am even cooing over the adorable little creatures and have to keep reminding myself of how awful it was when we had indoor cats....but they are sooo cute as babies...perhaps I'm getting baby fever worse than I suspected, hmmmm.
Did I mention all the kittens are boys, looks like Charly will have to come up with some cute names for them.
Today we went to Keith and Anja's house (our girls love them!) to watch the Saturday session of General Conference. It was pleasant to be around friends to take it all in instead of laying around the house all day. I don't remember who said it (I'm sure I could look it up if I wanted to), but he gave a great analogy of how you can't savor the taste of a grape after eating a hot pepper....or something along those lines....I was half dosing off and half listening, LOL. Anyways I like to take away little things like that which will stick in my mind better than whole talks.
Anja picked up some curtains for me for the front living area, which is going to be painted a light yellow sometime in the near future. I can't wait to get all this brown off our walls.
Piper is still doing tricks, Charly's attitude is getting better and no more sightings of tarantulas, so nothing new to report.....
PS While we were watching Conference today all of us were so homesick for Utah, it was sad...we all wish we could just snap our fingers and go there tomorrow *sigh*. I really hope we will be able to make it up there this winter, we miss everyone terribly!

I wish you could just snap your fingers and be here too :) I'm glad your warming up to the kittens and I promise that if you start out the girls with a kitten then it'll become a part of the family. That's how Aspen is, we took her from her momma really early and she's never caused us grief. I'm not trying to imply that your going to keep one or anything :)
I miss my neices and my brother and my sister!
