Coming down from a high..

I didn't think I would get away with what I did today. I thought surely they would catch on to my scheme.

They didn't, in fact I was encouraged (except for the worker at Walgreens who said he wanted to shoot the person who invented coupons *ouch*). As I was checking out at Target I was literally jumping up and down on the inside from excitement...You mean you're going to give me $5 to buy this just so I can turn around and buy more and more and more??? Yippee!

I was very nervous about this very first coupon outing. Could I do it? Would the girls be OK with going in and out of four (Target, CVS, Walgreens, Kroger) different stores?

They were OK, in fact they were great! I even got compliments on how well they behaved. This just added to my intoxication!

I am very proud of myself  with the money I saved with coupons and ads, it is a great feeling!

In total I spent  $100.25 and saved $93 dollars. Not bad for my first trip out, wouldn't you say Anja? Jessica?

If you lost track, that's 17 applesauce packs hidden in there! A lot of these items I wouldn't buy at normal price but when you get them uber cheap it's great to stock up for food storage. I am no longer a snob to products that aren't "healthy. I figure at this point in Nate's career we really don't have the privilege to be insanely picky eaters.

PS I think I am officially addicted to this! Thanks again Anja for showing me the ropes!!

congrats! I remember the feeling all too well. Have fun with it, but don't overdo it... you might get burned out (like me). For a while I was doing 7 stores each week. CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Albertsons, Tom Thumb, Walmart, Costco. Needless to say, it was too much, and I crashed hard. I am just now (6 months later) slowly getting back into it.
