The Dog Days are almost over, I can feel it in my veins! I just know the crunchy grass will be replaced with the beauty of deep green grass before winter strikes and it gets brown again.
This photo was taken our first spring here, look how lush our grass was! In this same spot now, there stands a much larger peach tree and grass that is so crunchy it no longer feels pleasant to walk on. But more importantly than that, there stands a much larger Piper! A more radiant and energetic darling Piper than we could ever imagined, seeming to get more energy by the minute. One day we will catch up to her levels of fun, but for now we are enjoying chasing her.
