"Mom, you know what would be good on babies?....CHOCOLATE!"
(Piper has been filled with so much joy and excitement, her little body grows tired mid afternoon and she crashes on the couch for a nap. Piper hasn't taken a nap in over a year before this.)
Oh Piper, this is why we love you so much! Charly and I could not stop laughing and I still can't stop when I think of how excited and serious she was about putting chocolate on our delicious little newborn. I think Santa will probably be getting her a giant jar of Nutella for Christmas to spread her hearts delight on whatever she pleases.
After Piper, Winnie and I had our nice long afternoon nap (Charly read on the couch with us) we ventured outside to enjoy this warm weather. I figured it was a good opportunity to get some pictures of Winnie in the sunshine. I hear it may snow this weekend. Yeah, I told you Texas has bipolar weather patterns.
I have literally been staking out with my camera trying to catch a smile on this little gem. This has been as close as I got. I'll take it!
So glad Charly has the camera skills she does. She took the photo below. What a great day us girls have had. I am enjoying the quiet times as well as the wild ones but our life feels completely full with Winnie in it. I often wondered when I was pregnant how it would be with a new baby in the house and now I can't imagine what it was like without her here.
Oh and about the 'Raisinet' title, Winnie lost her little umbilical cord stump this morning. Is it weird that I now have all three girls stumps in a plastic baggy? Yeah, probably a little huh? LOL
