I was delighted to find an email today mentioning early registration for the Ogden marathon. I have been waiting anxiously for Oct 1st to see if we out of towners would be able to snag two of the 3,000 spots allotted. Naturally, I jumped on the early reg. deal and it's official now. Nate and I are paid and on the roster for the marathon in May.
Now that the feelings of waiting to register are gone I am replacing those thoughts with those of milk. Hmm, what the heck will I do with my milk while I run. I will surely have to stop at one point to pump or nurse the little baby who will hopefully be in the warm arms of my momma. You can't take strollers on the route, which is good and bad I suppose. Usually I wouldn't leave a six month old baby at all, let alone the 4 plus hours it will take me to run but I figure this is a once in a lifetime thing I want to do for myself and with Nathan.
Surely I wouldn't be the first lactating mom to run a marathon, I mean they probably have breast pumps on hand to help out huh? LOL, yeah that will happen.
