It has been a while since I have felt this way on a Sunday. Church was awesome and filled my heart with so much joy. It was testimony meeting and while I wasn't planning on sharing mine, I couldn't help but to share after a young man got up there to share his. Then Charly says she wants to bear her testimony and she wanted my help. I told her I wasn't going to tell her what to say but that I would go up there with her anyway. We get up there and she froze so I spoke on her behalf. I'm just excited that she is wanting to share her testimony, even if at the last minute she changed her mind. I just wish Nate could have been there to see her. (He is on monthly guard duty working hard for his family)
When we came home we had to enjoy this wonderful sixty something weather we're having so we took our snacks outside and it was only natural that the sweaters came on once the weather dropped below 70. I will admit, I was a little bit chilly with just my dress on. I forgot what that felt like.
We didn't last long outside before Charly suggested we go inside for some hot cocoa. SCORE! It was delicious. I put a pot of pumpkin(from the garden) soup on the stove and the smell of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg set the mood for a perfect fall smell. I love fall! FYI, that is not a real cell phone, just a prop. LOL
I am pretty sure this is for real and fall is going to stay put this time. I hope so at least.
