We were so excited the other day when our water bill arrived and at the bottom it had a notice for an Easter egg hunt last Saturday. Of course we were there!
Moments after arriving at the park, the infamous bunny arrived. Charly had no problem sitting on his lap. Piper on the other hand was very cautious of how close she got and only stepped close enough to barely grab a bag of M&Ms from his hand.
After the hunt and many eggs later, Piper spent the next 30 minutes keeping an eye on that good ole bunny while Charly modeled her completely mis-matched clothing for me.
I adore Charly's eclectic fashion choices but mostly I love the fact that she could care less if her clothes "match".
There were no sliced fingers from the death slide and the girls had a blast running around the park afterward. They even made a few friends.
Piper seems to have overcome her fear of swinging as well, which was very exciting to Charly and I.
Last Easter we got rained out so it was pretty refreshing and icing on the cake to attend the hunt this year!
Oh how I LOVE spring!
