Welcome frogs

We decided that since yesterday was the only day Nate was off in Two months and we all had no plans that it would be fitting to stay in and just be a family. It sure was nice! No computer, no editing photos...

I rented "Up" Saturday evening and after watching it we decided it would be a wonderful DVD to add to our collection. This movie is so good, I was almost in tears a few times throughout the film. Very heartwarming.

After a Sunday vacation from Church where we stayed in our pajamas all day AT HOME, I have emerged back to the scene.

Here we are on a 70 something monday afternoon and Charly's throat is harboring something funky, she sounds like a frog is hanging out in there. Hopefully after some much needed rest for her she will feel better tomorrow so we can actually enjoy this Texas winter before it turns too cold and ferocious ice storms creep our way.

Piper is doing fantastic sleeping at night and has been consistently taking naps during the day, I of course lay by her and sneak out as she heads to dreamland where hopefully she stays...unless the darn dog shakes and wakes her up. This happens way too frequently by the way.

I won't even mention the fact that Charly bit Piper yesterday.......Ugh!
(How is this possible? My almost 6 year old biting? At this point I'm confused with Charly, one minute she is so sweet and then she turns and is just awful to Piper.  I stay home with her, homeschool her, read to her, play with her and still she clearly craves more attention.)

At this point it seems so silly to focus on me going back to school, what the heck would happen if my time away from her decreases? I already feel like hanging out with friends once a week is too much for her.  *sigh*, I'm sure in time I will figure it out.

As Nate heads the mower to the back yard I am reminded that dinner needs to get done and that is my cue to wrap this up, LOL

Who's in the mood for spicy Pad Thai? Me, me, me!
