He bought them red corvettes, yup pretty spolied

You know those grandpas you see at Dairy Queen always telling their friends the same stories about their grand kids? My dad is totally one of them. I imagine when he approaches a gathering of people they all kind of turn their head and suddenly look busy for fear of just one more episode of "Want to Know what my Granddaughters did?"

He is certainly one proud dad and grandparent (as of course they all are) but I was lucky enough to capture his love from our short trip this weekend.
We just had to visit him so he could make his famous tacos and Charly could introduce him to her dessert she makes with marshmallows, Nutella and a tortilla. She made it for Nate and I a few months ago on  a holiday she called "kids work day". I'm pretty sure she just wanted to not do school that day. Eh, none the less, it was delicious enough to have three even after a belly full of beefy tacos.

If that wasn't enough fun, he also brought out two red corvettes for the girls to take home(Matchbox cars).Poor little Piper missed out on the fun, she stayed back at Grandmama's due to a fever and not feeling well.
It was hysterical to watch the sheep surround Charly for an afternoon snack.
We had a really nice time getting to reminisce while looking at old pictures while my dad made unlimited supplies of sweets. I do love my sweets. We usually meet my dad at a restaurant when we come to town but this was so much fun we will probably ditch the China Bowl for home cooked tacos next time.
