Today as I picked up Winnie for the millionth time (yes, I hold her that much) I realized that her floppy newborn body has been replaced by a strong, vibrant almost seven month old one who feels heavy in my arms. When did my tiny little baby become so big and dense? How did I miss this change? How did she grow so fast in our arms?
My dad recently got me the newest Taylor Swift CD and funny as it seems I was listening to it for the 100th time when I heard these lyrics.....
....Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, if it could stay this simple....
I'm sure when little miss Taylor wrote this song, she was imaging someone like me holding her sweet little girl wanting to freeze time as I do now.
We can't get enough of this precious baby. Literally. Cannot. Get. Enough.

I don't know how Taylor Swift can understand to write songs like that... she's just a kid herself! LOL Have you heard the one called "The Best Day"? Makes me cry.
And yeah, I totally understand what you are talking about.
It's bittersweet, isn't it? I miss that age so much! She is adorable, Renee!
