Uh, yesterday was so great! The girls got along, the laundry got folded and put away and more importantly the tree that wasn't going to go up got put up. I have my dear "mamma Barbie" to thank for this all getting done.
Last week while we were enjoying a secret dinner at Subway she snapped me into reality telling me I HAD to do the whole Christmas decorating for the girls.
She was right!
Charly later said it would be the best Christmas ever, even if Piper wounded up taking all the ornaments off the tree. She was so cute placing all the ones she got in the same area while Charly was a bit more strategic about where she placed the ornaments.
Before we tackled the tree we made attempts at getting our family pictures done for the cards I hope to get out by the end of the week. If I don't get them out within a couple of days they just won't be going out at all and that would be a tragedy wouldn't it?
Our lovely neighbor dog kept distracting the girls when we did our outside shots, perhaps Santa will bring us a magical fence that goes up in one day, LOL
Next week we have big gingerbread house plans (thanks Nana for the recipe and matching aprons) which I'm sure will be a lovely tradition to carry on with the girls.
Did I mention we have 20 days until Utah? Yee-haw!
